Planning a wedding can be fun, stressful, but fun at the same time and one of the more interesting aspects is organizing the wedding favors. Fortunately, there are a number of different options which are very easy to arrange at the last minute. This is a part of the arrangements, like the guest list and seating arrangement that will often cause unnecessary stress when there doesn’t have to be any.
An easy wedding favor option is flowers which really don’t take much to arrange but guests can enjoy. Fortunately, as far as the bride and groom are concerned, apart from choosing which flowers to have, there is little for them to do.
Red roses always look attractive and of course they don’t have to be wrapped like many other flowers. You can simply purchase one for each guest and have a member of the catering staff, a friend or family member place one rose across each place setting after the tables have been set for the wedding reception.
If you want to stick with a favorite easy wedding favor then use candy; it’s always a safe bet and it can be made to look attractive if nicely designed boxes or tins are used for storage. I like the idea that a number of receptions have started to use where the costly centerpiece is done away with completely. This just needs a large quantity of various candies placed in a large bowl on the middle of the table.
To complete this idea, a small plain bag or carton can be left for each wedding guest to put their candy into. Of course this means that you won’t have to wrap anything yourself but it should get the thumbs up from everyone.
Pictures frames can also work well especially if they are used as place card holders. If you intend to use picture frames as your wedding favors there is a way that you can present them to your guests without have to wrap them! By using the picture frames as placeholders provides a way around this, making it a gift that does not need to be wrapped.
Another easy wedding favor option to end this article is to arrange for a professional photographer to attend the wedding reception and take a photo of every couple as they arrive looking their best. So to make sure each guest leaves with their photo, the photographer could take along a fast digital printer then they could be printed out whilst the guests are enjoying the reception. As most wedding photographs are in groups, a photograph with just one couple at a time showing them at their best would be a welcomed wedding favor. Many professional photographers have purchased small digital projectors so there is no reason why you couldn’t request one at the reception and this way your guests could see the images that had been taken during the day.
